Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver. Offering the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, part number is 31374.Now here's what your hitch is going to look like installed on your Ram. As you can see, right here in the middle we've got our two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. You're going to have the flush reinforcement collar around the end of it there. You'll see this tucked in the outer edge of our bumper, so that's going to help prevent us from running into it if you're walking by or something like that. Also visible, you'll have your recovery loops, if you need to run, maybe if you get a wench mounted in the front you'd run a strap back to it, or just to get yourself pulled out.We'll have one of those located on each side, and that's really about all you're going to see from the hitch. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, we're going to be doing a review and installation of the curved front-mounted trailer hitch receiver, part number 31320. This is what your front-mounted hitch will look like once you have it installed. It's going to have a nice, sleek look on the front end and not protrude out very far from the bumper. It's going to be tucked up and underneath, so you won't have anything visible from the front besides the receiver tube, which is going to be at 2 by 2 inch square tubing with a 5/8s inch pinhole through the side. This receiver is going to have a 9,000 lb line weight, which means if you have a wedge or any kind of lines hooked up to it, it's going to support you pulling 9,000 lbs with it. A vertical tongue 00:46 weight of up to 500 lbs, and a trailer weight of up to 5,000 lbs. Now we'll go ahead and get a few measurements. From the center of our pinhole to the outermost part of our bumper, it's going to be about 3 and a half inches. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Series Crew Cab 2-Wheel Drive, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Front Hitch part number 65062. This what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as the ball mount, bicycle rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin holes to the outermost edge of the bumper, it is approximately five inches. From the top of the opening and the receiver to the ground is approximately 8-3/4 inches. Now, let's go ahead and install our hitch. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 we're going to install the Curt front mounted hitch part #: 31320. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the license plate is 3 and a half inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 12 and inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories, now lets go ahead with the installation. Before we can begin the installation well need to go ahead and take a notch out of the front air dam to allow for the hitch clearance. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on this 2010 Dodge Ram 2500, were going to install part number c31015 from Curt. This is what it looks like when the hitch is installed on the vehicle. Next we will give you some measurements that will help you out when selecting some accessories. From the center of the pin hitch hole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 9-1/2, and from the top of the receiver tube down to the ground is going to be 13. Now I will go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. Alright our first step we have to make a notch in an air dam at the bottom of the bumper. more
